Your best interests are the priority of everyone who works with us
In a modern world of big business and corporate companies it is sometimes difficult to maintain the personal touch and give the service that was once expected from everyone. J H Way Funeral Services try to preserve that standard that was set by our predecessors. To that end, our staff are all local residents who know the local traditions and are familiar with the Dawlish and Teignmouth, Devon Churches and Clergy. It helps us to help you when you are arranging a funeral service for someone special and who is dear to you.
I am a Teignmouth local and started working at T Clark Funeral Service as an Administrator in 2004. I gained my experience whilst training in all areas of the funeral business, which covered all aspects of Funeral Administration, Arranging and Directing which included the collection of loved ones from hospitals, hospices and private residences to full preparation so families could visit.
Aside from my beautiful family, funerals are a very important part of my life and over the years I have strived to deliver an excellent service to my families who have put their trust in me.
I will go above and beyond and do everything in my power to ensure the funeral they hold for their loved one is as unique and as special as they are. I would like to think that my high standard of work and work ethic has earnt me a good reputation for delivering exactly what my families ask for, which resulted in repeat business for the company.
I have been on various committees over the years from Teignmouth Hospital League of Friends, Teignmouth Soup Kitchen, Trustee/Honorary Secretary and Unit Appointed Chaplin of Teignmouth Sea Cadets (TS Canonteign) and PCC Secretary for St James Church.
I am a member of Teignmouth Baptist Church and help with the Children’s work and stewarding on a regular basis. I love spending quality time with my family, having long walks with our dogs and have rowed for many a year with a team from Shaldon. We have participated in many charity rows such as the London River Race and the Brixham to Shaldon row. I am excited for the next phase of my career and being able to look after families once more.
Sanya joined Funeral Partners as a Casual Funeral Service Operative in 2018, and then had the opportunity to work as a full time Funeral Arranger in May 2019.
Working in the Funeral industry is very important to Sanya – to be able to help those at such a difficult time and provide a service to families is a very rewarding and honourable experience.
Sanya loves spending quality time with her family, swimming, and football during the week and on Sunday’s.
She has completed many charity runs and most recently 251 lengths of her local swimming pool for Macmillan.
