J H Way Funeral Services in Dawlish took part in this year’s Dawlish Carnival Week by entering the Best Dressed Window Competition and the popular Misplaced Article Competition.
Linsie transformed the window using the carnival theme, “Once Upon A Time,” creating a thoughtful display titled “Every Life Tells a Story.” The scene featured family photographs, a garden table and chair, and poignant messages celebrating the stories that shape our lives and memories.
To add some extra fun, visitors were invited to search for hidden clues inspired by well-known fairy tales, alongside the carnival’s traditional misplaced article challenge.
Taking part was a meaningful way to support Dawlish Carnival Week and celebrate a much-loved local tradition that brings together businesses, residents and visitors from across the town. For Linsie, the most rewarding part has been hearing positive feedback and sharing conversations with families as they search for the hidden items and clues.
