As part of Dawlish Carnival Week, most of the shops in Dawlish decorate their windows according to the theme of the year, and JH Way in Dawlish was no exception. This year’s theme was musicals with prizes awarded for prize for first, second and Highly Commended.
Linsie in branch also went one extra and organised a competition, asking people to ‘Guess the Musical’ in one of her windows with 30 clues to 30 musicals.
Local shops also ran a ‘Misplaced Article’ competition where an item is placed in the window of a shop that wouldn’t normally sell that item. People from Dawlish and holiday makers then go round all the shops taking part and find the misplaced article.
