Shoebox appeal

The good people of Dawlish brought in donations of selection boxes into branch for 2 weeks in December On Saturday 14th of December Funeral Arranger Linsie Kemp took over 40 to A.I.M.S and gave them to the organiser to hand out to the children at the end of the session.

A.I.M.S. (AIMS – Activities Interests Music Support) exists to provide support to those families who have children with different needs. It meets every Saturday from 11am to 2pm to provide a safe and fun place for children to play and for their parents to meet, chat and share experiences.

Linsie was shown around the rooms to see what the children get to do while they are there and has offered to volunteer for them next year. The charity costs around £20,000 a year to run and rely solely on grants and donations. It really is a lovely place for the children, their siblings and also their parents.
